Local Hero and some open gardens

The Lifetime Community Hero award was won by Heather Williamson in 2016. She donated her £250 to the Norfolk Association for the Disabled. We met Steven from Hethersett Environment Action Team to have a chat about her work.

Open Gardens benefitted from some pleasant sunny weather at the weekend and below are a couple of photo highlights from the gardens I managed to get around. Already looking forward to next year when I intend to see a few more. Lots of friendly hosts with useful advice and even a prize pumpkin for my own patch.
